『殭屍肖像in東京＆台北』予告展

『殭屍肖像　PORTRAIT of ZOMBIE in TOKYO』在2014年年初於東京的新宿開展。

展覽內容是我花費一年時間，在東京六本木MIDTOWN對面的酒吧裡，每月最後一個週日所舉辦的殭屍派對上所拍攝的337張殭屍肖像照。

畫上殭屍妝後，『普通人』這個人格反而會比殭屍妝更加強烈地展現出來，

這一點深深地感動了我，

也讓我瞭解到，有了殭屍妝這張搞怪的面具，反而會使我更想去探究對方最真實的一面。

而這些照片便是記錄下2013年這群人就存在於東京裡的一種方式。

近期內，這337張照片以及六本木的殭屍們將會來到台北。

屆時很希望一樣遭到殭屍病毒感染的台灣朋友們能讓我們拍下照片並進行展覽，同時也希望能蒐集多一些人的照片，組織一個由台灣和日本所組成的亞洲殭屍大軍，一起進軍殭屍的發源地ー歐美。

2014年の年明けに東京・新宿で『ゾンビの肖像　PORTRAIT of ZOMBIE in TOKYO』を開催しました。

東京六本木ミッドタウンの向かいにある毎月最終日曜日のみ開催のゾンビバーで約一年かけて撮影したゾンビの肖像写真337枚を展示したものです。

ゾンビメイクを施された『普通の人々』の人格が、逆効果と思える程にゾンビメイクをスルーして
浮かび上がってくることに、とても感動しました。
ゾンビというふざけた仮面は、逆にその人物の素顔に深くアプローチしたくなるきっかけだとわかりました。

この写真達は2013年に東京に存在した人間達のひとつの記録なのです。
近いうちに、この337枚の写真達と六本木のゾンビとともに台北にお邪魔して、ゾンビ菌に感染した台湾の方々の写真撮影と展示を行いたいと強く願っています。
是非とも多くの方にお集り頂き、台湾と日本の膨大なアジアンゾンビ写真軍団を作り上げ、ゾンビ元祖の欧米に乗り込みたいとも思っています。

There is a small bar, across the street of Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, which opens 
to Zombies every last Sunday of the month. （http://www.zombiena.net/） 
The bartenders and customers paying 500 yen for make-ups transform themselves into Zombies and truly liven up the nights with drinks. I shot portraits of the Zombies at the bar between February and November of 2013.

A photograph sometimes tells a lie. It is a collection of light reflected off the surface of the objects in front of the camera, but does not always show us the truth of the objects. These portraits, however, rather reveal more than what they are on the surface. While the models in the portraits mask their real faces behind Zombie make-ups, their emotions or personalities seep out gradually through the masks. When you see the photographs, you would desire to look into the masks to meet the real persons, as if the make-ups had the opposite effect to what were intended. 
Therefore, the hidden theme of these mysterious portraits of the Zombies is the existence of 337 ordinary people who were surely alive in Tokyo in 2013.
