2005年，為助益本地爵士樂活動之推展，台北市國際爵士樂教育推廣協會（Taipei International Jazz Education & Promotion Association）正式成立，以非營利機構之模式主辦籌劃爵士樂年度暨常態相關活動。本會成立宗旨如下︰

一、致力本地爵士樂教育，提供專業而常態之講座活動。
二、推廣國際爵士樂交流，與全世界爵士樂壇維持良好關係。
三、不定期舉辦針對各階層之爵士音樂演奏會，並邀請國外傑出音樂家訪台。
四、每年暑期舉辦國際爵士教育交流活動，創造高水準學習環境。
五、提供有心學子專業學習諮詢及生涯規劃協助。
六、與歐美日等專業爵士教育機構如音樂院、大學、學院、中學、常設組織等同步良性互動。

迄今已成功舉辦多項國際性爵士樂盛事，包括
a. 年度舉行之台北國際爵士樂教育推廣季
b. 與台北市政府合辦之台北國際爵士音樂節
c. 於台北市各公園、博物館舉行的仲夏爵士悠遊音樂會系列
d. 於實踐大學音樂系舉辦之台北國際爵士音樂營
e. 夏季與冬季爵士樂講堂與主題式講座
f. 外國音樂家來台演出規劃與交流活動
g. 為新北市政府、外貿協會、美國在台協會、荷蘭貿易暨投資辦事處、比利時台北辦事處等規劃專題活動

本會理事長為陳凌鶴先生，音樂總監為謝啟彬老師，教育總監為張凱雅老師，多年來除於全台及國際間演奏巡迴原創台灣爵士樂外，並戮力於台灣本地的爵士人才培育與藝文環境提升。

The Taipei International Jazz Education & Promotion Association （TIJEPA） is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting jazz & relevant music education in Taiwan. Founded in 2005 by local jazz lovers and senior members of Taipei International Summer Jazz Academy, the Association strives to promote international awareness and appreciation of jazz music and talent with ongoing events and activities reaching a wide demographic audience. By partnering with The TIJEPA, sponsors and supporters have the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to the art and cultural education in Taiwan.

[ What We Do for Jazz in Taiwan? ]
A. Devote into Local Jazz education, organize professional and regular Jazz educational events
B. Promote the exchange of International Jazz cultures, maintain the good relationship with the global jazz scene
C. Organize the specific topic Jazz concerts for various audience, invite outstanding foreign musicians to visit Taiwan
D. Raise the jazz standard by organizing annual jazz events, and create the stairway to reach the international level
E. Help aspiring young sensations and students for in-depth learning and career advises
F. Interact with noted European, American and Japanese Jazz Schools and Jazz Promoters’ Organizations to build up the bridges
