1. Abrasive. Abrasive refers to the material of the sand grains in the grinding wheel, which is the main component of the grinding wheel and the basic element for the grinding wheel to produce cutting action.
2. Granularity. Particle size is a parameter used to express the size of abrasive particles. According to the basic particle size of the abrasive, abrasive wheel,a total of 41 particle size numbers are specified. Particle size directly affects the quality and productivity of grinding.
3. Adhesive. The binder is the material that binds the dispersed abrasive grains into an abrasive tool with a certain shape and sufficient strength. The type and nature of the bond affects the hardness, strength, corrosion resistance, heat resistance and impact resistance of the grinding wheel.
4. Hardness. The hardness of the grinding wheel refers to the difficulty of the abrasive particles falling off under the action of external force when the grinding wheel is working. If the grinding wheel is hard, it means that the abrasive grains are difficult to fall off; if the grinding wheel is soft, it means that the grinding wheel is easy to fall off.
