It's so frustrating when you're putting in the work at the gym and the scale goes up! This article makes some great points about muscle gain and initial water retention. I hadn't thought about measuring circumference instead of just focusing on weight. Also, the point about HIIT is really interesting. I definitely need to focus on the intensity of my workouts, not just the duration. It reminds me of needing focused intensity and quick reflexes in something like Slope Game, you really have to be present and react quickly to see results! Gotta keep pushing through those plateaus.
